Abstract

Education cannot go without reading, self-interpretation, dialogue and writing. There is no authentic education without critical discerning. It is necessary to turn, in our pedagogical practice, towards the restitution of our native language as a central instrument for thinking and re-creating our own reality. The task that we refer to is equally valid and urgent in urban and rural contexts, in Occident as in Latin America. It is not just a need for a few towns or nations, but rather something that concerns and is suitable for all.
